Points Failure

Normal Detection Obtained

  1. Peg the points into Normal
  2. Apply a reminder appliance to the points
  3. If applicable, hold trains in stations (if you they are unable to continue with the points in Normal)
  4. If applicable, inform your adjacent workstation / panel of the failure. Advise them that you cannot accept trains
  5. Tell your SSM / Incident Control
  6. Document the failure in the Train Register Book (TRB), along with the fault number provided by Control
